We Exist Because Africa Has a Communication Poverty Crisis.
And we are building the solution.
Confidence Academy Africa (CAA) is Africa’s first structured communication and confidence institute — built specifically to close the gap between what Africans know and what they are able to express.
We call that gap Communication Poverty. And it is one of the most devastating silent crises on this continent.
It costs Africa jobs. Businesses. Contracts. Leadership positions. Generational wealth. And it shows up every single day — in the brilliant professional who freezes in a meeting, the entrepreneur who cannot pitch her idea, the student who knows the answer and stays silent. The List is endless!
CAA exists to end that.
Through structured programmes, corporate training, coaching, and the WeSpeakAfrica movement — we are helping individuals and organisations across Africa find their voice, communicate with confidence, and show up powerfully in every room they walk into.
What Is Communication Poverty?
Communication Poverty is not about intelligence. It is not about education. It is what happens when talented, capable Africans cannot translate what they know, what they feel, and what they are worth — into words that open doors.
It starts in homes where children were taught to be quiet. It grows in schools that taught algebra but never taught expression. It shows up in workplaces where the most talented people stay invisible because nobody taught them how to communicate their value.
It shows up as:
— The professional who works harder than everyone but cannot ask for a promotion
— The entrepreneur whose business stays small because she cannot pitch her vision
— The leader whose team cannot follow him because he cannot communicate direction
— The student who knows the answer — and stays silent
— The woman who swallows her feelings every day because speaking up feels dangerous
This is the problem we solve.
Our Approach — We Go Deeper Than Skills
Most communication training teaches techniques. We teach transformation.
Because sustainable communication change starts with identity — not just skill. You cannot build a confident voice on top of a broken foundation. So we begin where the problem begins — inside the person — and build outward.
Every CAA programme is designed to:
Heal — the identity wounds that create silence and fear
Build — the practical communication skills that open doors
Sustain — the confidence to show up fully in every environment

The Person Behind the Mission

Ujunwa Miracle
CAA was founded by Ujunwa Miracle — Africa's Communication Poverty Coach, Communication and Confidence expert, Author, Speaker, and Chartered Mediator.
Ujunwa founded CAA after years of sitting across from brilliant, capable Africans who could not find the words to express what they knew. She saw a pattern — and decided to build the solution.
Through CAA's structured programmes, her personal coaching practice, and the WeSpeakAfrica movement, Ujunwa is building Africa's first comprehensive response to Communication Poverty.
"Africa does not have a talent shortage. We have a communication gap. And I have given my life to closing it."— Ujunwa Miracle, Founder & CEO
The WeSpeakAfrica Movement
WeSpeakAfrica is CAA's pan-African community movement — making communication development free and accessible to every African, regardless of where they are, how old they are, or where they come from.
Through free workshops, community programmes, and digital content — WeSpeakAfrica is taking the message of Communication Poverty to cities and communities across the continent.
Upcoming Physical workshops: Abuja · Nairobi · Windhoek.
Your Voice Deserves to Be Heard.
Whether you are an individual ready to find your voice, a professional ready to communicate your worth, or an organisation ready to invest in your team — CAA has a pathway for you.
